Ok, Vel. I guess you gave it a fair shot.
To make animating easier and to stay with your style (as well as taking out the AA) I知 not going to use Bezier lines for the outlines.
Instead, I値l use my old silhouette method.
First, I draw lines from important features on the side view (top of hair, forehead, eyes, nose, chin, shoulders, etc).



Next, using a big brush, I draw the approximate shape in black (I could use another color, but I prefer to use the color that痴 going to be used for the outline). Notice that I leave the cape silhouette for later.



Ok, here痴 a basic shape that I can refine as I go along. I知 going to fill in the middle of the shape with its respective color, leaving the black only as an outline.



Now, since I知 relatively satisfied with the results, I知 going to add the rest of the cape and the details on the face.



You probably want to add some more little details (like a belt buckle, for example).
